Central Illinois rooflines vary widely in age, pitch, orientation, and usable area. Each plane needs its own production assumptions.
Illustrative imageWe start with your Ameren bill and your roof, then build a solar plan designed around your home, not a one-size-fits-all package.
Central Illinois homes come in every age, shape, and roofline. We start with your property and your bill, then design a system that fits both, instead of forcing a standard package onto a non-standard home.
A good proposal shows you where every number came from. That's the difference between a sales pitch and a decision you can still defend years later.

Summer cooling and winter electric loads can create very different monthly bills. Annual usage is the more reliable baseline.
Supply, delivery, rate selection, and fixed charges need to be identified before estimating what solar may offset.

A monthly payment alone tells you almost nothing. Your estimate is built from these four inputs, and we show you all of them.
Twelve months of usage, seasonal peaks, rate structure, and the charges that may remain after solar.
Usable planes, pitch, orientation, shade, roof condition, setbacks, and room for productive panels.
Current delivery territory, billing rules, metering, interconnection, and program assumptions.
Cash price, financed price, payment structure, fees, transfer terms, and long-term goals.
One missing input can change the entire answer.
Billing rules, rates, and rebate programs differ between ComEd, Ameren, and local utilities. We start with whoever is named on your actual bill.
Your bill tells us how much energy you use, when you use it, and which charges solar can actually reduce. That's the baseline every other number is built on.

There is no useful regional average. The right starting point is twelve months of electricity use, followed by the production available from the roof planes that actually receive good sunlight.
Solar may reduce charges tied to grid electricity consumption, while fixed and other non-bypassable charges may remain. The proposal should show that distinction instead of promising a zero bill.
Age alone is not disqualifying. Roof condition, structural suitability, electrical service, shade, and expected time in the home all need to be reviewed.
That depends on cash flow, ownership goals, available capital, lender terms, fees, and how long you expect to own the home. We put the paths side by side.
