SMS policy

These are the terms of the Direct Solar Pros text messaging program. They apply to anyone who provides a mobile number and agrees to be contacted by text.

Program description

Direct Solar LLC dba Direct Solar Pros sends text messages to homeowners who have requested a solar estimate. Messages relate to your estimate request, scheduling and confirming a consultation, appointment reminders, and follow-up about your project. This is a conversational program, so a real person may reply to you, and you can reply to us.

How you opt in

You opt in by checking the consent box on a Direct Solar Pros form, on this website or on a lead form hosted by Facebook or Instagram, and submitting it with your mobile number. The consent language reads:

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service. We record the date, time, and exact wording you agreed to.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on where you are in the process. Most people receive a handful of messages in the first week after requesting an estimate, and fewer after that. You will not receive more than roughly ten messages per month from the automated portion of the program.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Direct Solar Pros does not charge for the messages, but your mobile carrier may, according to your plan.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message and we will stop sending automated marketing texts to that number. You will receive one message confirming the removal, and nothing after that.

You do not have to use the word STOP. We also honor unsubscribe, quit, end, cancel, remove me, and any other reasonable way of telling us to stop, including telling one of our team members during a conversation.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your carrier and your device, and we cannot guarantee that every message arrives.

Privacy

The mobile numbers and consent we collect for this program are used only by Direct Solar Pros and the messaging providers that deliver our messages. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile opt-in information or consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, the date at the top changes.
